The concentration mixer allows calculating the resulting concentration from the mixture of two inlet streams with different flows and mass concentrations.
The method is based on a mass balance, considering both the total outlet flow and the weighted average concentration according to each inlet stream contribution.
<br>| Parameter | Default units | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Flow 1 ($Q_1$) | m³/s | Flow rate of the first inlet stream |
| Concentration 1 ($c_1$) | mg/L | Concentration of the first stream |
| Flow 2 ($Q_2$) | m³/s | Flow rate of the second inlet stream |
| Concentration 2 ($c_2$) | mg/L | Concentration of the second stream |
| Parameter | Default units | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Outlet flow ($Q_{out}$) | m³/s | Total flow rate resulting from the mixture |
| Outlet concentration ($c_{out}$) | mg/L | Weighted average concentration of the mixture |
