Description

Performs head losses calculations in conic reduction inlets. There are two options:

Given the flow

Given the flow and the conic reduction inlets diameter, calculates the corresponding head loss.

hf=k.U22g h_f = k. \frac{U^2}{2g}

Coefficient

Given the conic reduction inlets diameter, calculates the head losses coeficients corresponding to the expressions:

  1. k applicable to the expression:
    hf=k.U22g h_f = k. \frac{U^2}{2g}
  2. kQ applicable to the expression:
    hf=kQ.Q2 h_f = k_Q. Q^2
