Description

Performs head losses calculations in conic reduction inlets. There are two options:

Given the flow

Given the flow and the conic reduction inlets diameter, calculates the corresponding head loss. $$ h_f = k. \frac{U^2}{2g} $$

Coefficient

Given the conic reduction inlets diameter, calculates the head losses coeficients corresponding to the expressions:

  1. k applicable to the expression: $$ h_f = k. \frac{U^2}{2g} $$

  2. kQ applicable to the expression: $$ h_f = k_Q. Q^2
