Description

Given the population, per capita contribution, peak contribution coefficients, per capita BOD and COD, network extension and rainwater contribution; calculates incoming flows and average BOD and COD.

Notes:

  1. Per capita BOD varies from 45 to 60 g/(hab.day). 54 g/(hab/day) is usually adopted (VON SPERLING, M, 2005).
  2. COD/BOD relationship indicates the sewage biodegradability. In raw domestic sewage, COD/BOD relationship varies from 1,7 to 2,4 (Rede Nacional de Capacitação e Extensão Tecnológica em Saneamento Ambiental - ReCESA.,2008).
