Description

Given the superficial area of the filter, the washing time, and the desired ascending velocity, the required water washing volume is calculated.

Formula

V_l = A \cdot U_a \cdot t

Where:

$V_l$ = washing volume $\text{(m³)}$
$A$ = superficial area of the filter $\text{(m²)}$
$U_a$ = ascending velocity $\text{(m/min)}$
$t$ = washing time $\text{(min)}$
