Description

Given the flow to be filtered, the superficial area of each filter, and the number of filters, the average filtration rate is calculated.

Formula

\frac{86400 \cdot Q}{n \cdot A}

Where:

$Q/A$ = filtration rate $\text{(m³/m².d)}$
$Q$ = flow $\text{(m³/s)}$
$A$ = superficial area of each filter $\text{(m²)}$
$n$ = number of filters
