Description

Calculates the slaked lime consumption in a potable water treatment plant.

Given the water flow to be treated and the desired concentrations of slaked lime for alkalinization and final pH correction of the water, and the concentration of the suspension to be dosed, calculates the slaked lime consumption and the corresponding number of bags (20 kg each; assumed purity = 90%) to be stored, the volume of suspension to be prepared and the alkalinization and final pH correction dosing flows.
