Description

The Parshall flume is a hydraulic structure widely used to measure water flow in open channels. This calculation method allows the design and evaluation of Parshall flumes under various flow conditions.

With the Parshall flume calculation tool, the following operations can be performed:

  • Calculate the flow rate (QQ) based on the water height (yy) and throat width (WW).
  • Determine the water height (yy) for a given flow rate (QQ) and throat width (WW).
