Given the diameter and the passage area/pipe area of a gate valve, calculates de head loss coefficients applied to the formulae:

  • For k applicable to:
    hf=k⋅U22g hf = \frac{k \cdot U^2}{2g}
  • For kQk_Q applicable to:
    hf=kQ⋅Q2 ℎf = k_Q\cdot Q^2
