Description
Given the basic characteristics of a rectangular channel in uniform flow, this calculation determines the normal flow depth, flow rate, roughness coefficient n, or slope.
Calculation modes:
- Depth (y): Given the flow rate (Q), width (b), slope (I), and roughness coefficient (n), calculates the normal flow depth and velocity.
- Flow (Q): Given the depth (y), width (b), slope (I), and roughness coefficient (n), calculates the flow rate and the U2/2g relation.
- Width (b): Given the depth (y), flow rate (Q), slope (I), and roughness coefficient (n), calculates the width and the U2/2g relation.
- Roughness coefficient (n): Given the depth (y), flow rate (Q), slope (I), and width (b), calculates the roughness coefficient and the U2/2g relation.
- Slope (I): Given the depth (y), flow rate (Q), width (b), and roughness coefficient (n), calculates the slope and the U2/2g relation.
