Description

Performs calculations concerning Hydrofoil turbine mechanical mixers.

Given the shapes and dimensions of the mixing tank and the desired velocity gradient, finds the number of turbines and diameters, the distance betwen the turbine and the tank bottom, the motor velocity and power.

Notes

The anti-vortex device must be used whenever the equipment is installed in a vertical cilindrical tank.

This calculation should be used for design purposes. The validation of its results should be carried out by Sigma.
